The Pippi Hat

Remember Pippi Longstocking?  The colors in this beanie remind me of her red pigtails, flying in the wind!
 
The warm earth tone colors of this beanie will match any of your outfits, and will keep you snug in any winter weather.  Pippi is crocheted with two strands of Caron Cake yarn (80% acrylic / 20% wool), a self-striping line of yarn, the result being a hat full of texture and colors changing between copper, bronze, green, brown, and red.

The hat measures 7 1/2" from the bottom of the brim to the top of the crocheted hat. Lying flat, brim-to-brim, it measures 9.25", but TAKE NOTE that this hat and brim expands to fit a normal 20-23 inch woman's head.
 
I crochet each of my hats individually, using yarns that I have collected from a variety of sources. My interest is in creating hats that are fashionable and unique, and that use the highest quality yarns to keep you warm and cozy all winter!
