The Natalie Hat

This soft and fuzzy handmade crochet winter hat is the perfect stunner to wear on a cold winter’s day as you are walking along 5th Avenue in New York City, thinking of the classic winter movie - Miracle on 34th Street.  This gorgeous hat is named Natalie for the actress who played the little girl in that movie – Natalie Wood.  With a light snow fall coming down, you put on this hat with fake fur covering your ears and look like your own personal movie star.
 
The hat is crocheted with chunky stitches in the body using Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick (80% acrylic / 20% wool).  The wide brim uses Lion Brand Go for Faux fake fur yarn – my go-to fake fur yarn because of its high quality and superior softness.
 
The hat measures 8" from the bottom of the brim to the top of the crocheted hat. Lying flat, brim-to- brim, it measures 10", but TAKE NOTE that this hat and brim fits a normal 20-23 inch woman's head nicely.
