The Jo Hat

This handmade crochet winter Jo Hat is so bubbly and fun that it reminds me of a dear friend named Jo, who is a constant source of laughter!  The blue and red bouclé in the brim is paired with a lightweight red wool yarn, which will keep you warm all winter long.  That soft and fuzzy brim is paired with a red multi-colored 100% acrylic yarn and the contrast in textures and colors makes this a fabulous, one of a kind fashion statement for your winter wardrobe (as well as keeping you cozy warm!).
 
The body of this crochet hat uses a chunky Bernat Toasty, a 100% acrylic yarn and the wide brim uses two strands of yarn – one a lush blue and red bouclé called Ardilla  ABC – made in Spain – which is 75% acrylic and 25% wool, and the other a lightweight red wool.  I love the soft feel of this brim!  I have pictured this hat with two different colored fake fur pom poms – your choice.

The hat measures 8" from the bottom of the brim to the top of the crocheted hat. Lying flat, brim-to- brim, it measures 9 ", but TAKE NOTE that this hat and brim expands like an accordion to fit a normal 20-24 inch woman's head.  This makes for a fantastic fit.
