The Jello Hat

This handmade crochet chunky wool Jello hat is bright and fun and completely unique.  It reminded me of putting shredded carrots in jello, just like my mom used to do! This hat is truly one of a kind and makes me smile every time I look at it.  After a day on the slopes, pop this on around the firepit and let the party begin.
 
The hat is crocheted with two incredibly soft felted, super bulky hand-dyed wools.  The body of Jello Hat uses Gedifra 100% Peruvian wool, designed in Tuscany.   The brim and corkscrews use the always soft and fabulous Malabrigo super wash wool, also from Peru.  You have a choice of either the corkscrew topper or a fake fur pom pom.  Just click the appropriate preference when ordering.
 
The hat measures 7" from the bottom of the brim to the top of the crocheted hat. Lying flat, brim-to- brim, it measures 9", but TAKE NOTE that this hat is stitched with an accordion type stitch and expands to fit a normal 20-22 inch woman's head nicely.
 
I crochet each of my hats individually, using yarns that I have collected from a variety of sources. My interest is in creating hats that are fashionable and unique, and that use the highest quality yarns to keep you warm and cozy all day in the winter cold.
