The Cheri Hat

The lipstick red and glittery black brim of this handmade crochet warm winter hat screams French Bistro, ma Chéri!  Order a Campari and soda and sit by the Seine in this gorgeous red and black beanie with sassy multi-colored pom pom.
 
This beanie pattern from Ruby Webbs Designs has instantly become a favorite of mine.  Look at that textured stitch in the body of hat!  I went for the drama and added a sparkly black double brim and topped it off with a large black and color tipped fake fur pom pom for a hat that really makes a statement.  It is not all style, and no function, because this hat will keep you toasty warm with its soft Paton’s 100% wool red yarn and Caron’s lava Crystal Cake acrylic for the double brim.

The hat measures 8.5" from the bottom of the brim to the top of the crocheted hat. Lying flat, brim-to-brim, it measures 9.25", but TAKE NOTE that this hat and brim expands to fit a normal 20-23 inch woman's head.
 
I crochet each of my hats individually, using yarns that I have collected from a variety of sources. My interest is in creating hats that are fashionable and unique, and that use the highest quality yarns to keep you cozy all day in the winter cold.
