The Candy Hat

This squishy soft handmade pink crochet hat looks like a cloud of pink cotton candy.  I don’t think I’ve ever put on such a soft hat and I know that in the middle of a cold snowy winter day or night, the Candy hat will keep you cozy warm at the same time you are wearing a handmade piece of art on your head and ears.
 
The Candy beanie is crocheted using Dark Horse Yarns chunky bouclé (Acrylic/Nylon) in all shades of baby pink.  The double brim uses Nobo No Boundaries in a deep fuschia/pink (Acrylic/Polyamide).  Both of these yarns are super soft and because of the double brim, will also keep you very warm.  The pattern is from The Knotted Nest and it uses the lovely Alpine or Ripple stitch in the body of hat to give it a wonderful texture and drape.  To really make this hat pop, it features a bright pink fake fur pom-pom. 
 
The hat measures 8" from the bottom of the brim to the top of the crocheted hat. Lying flat, brim-to-brim, it measures 10", but TAKE NOTE that this brim expands like an accordion to fit a normal 20-23 inch woman's head.
