The Bobblehead Hat

This handmade crochet blue and pink hat is full of bobble stitches!  I love how fun this hat is – from the cute rows of balls to the fanciful fuzzy and soft wide brim, this hat screams personality.
 
The yarn used in the body of the Bobblehead hat is the soft Yarn Bee Mosaic Twist which is a self-striping blend of poly/cotton/acrylic/wool in colors of pale blue and pink.  The wide brim uses 2 strands of yarn – fuzzy Mei Mei 100% polyester and 100% nylon short eyelash Yarn Bee Infatuation.  I love using 2 strands of contrasting lightweight yarns in brims because it makes the hat not only warm and durable, but gives it that extra pizzazz!  The pattern is from RubyWebbs and honestly, I have used so many RubyWebbs patterns and all of them are simply fantastic.  Topped with a pale blue fake fur pom pom, this hat is truly distinctive and unique.

The hat measures 8 1/2" from the bottom of the brim to the top of the crocheted hat. Lying flat, brim-to-brim, it measures 10", but TAKE NOTE that this hat and brim expands to fit a normal 20-23 inch woman's head.
